Laurel Sayer, based in Boise, Idaho has served as President and CEO of Midas Gold Idaho, since 2016. Before her appointment as CEO, Ms. Sayer served on the Midas Gold Corp. Board for two years.  Prior to her appointment to the Midas Gold Board, she worked as the executive director of the Idaho Coalition of Land Trusts (ICLT), which is dedicated to supporting and advancing private land conservation in Idaho. Ms. Sayer also spent more than two decades working on policy matters with Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson and Idaho United States Senator Mike Crapo, with an emphasis on natural resource issues.

Darren Morgans

Darren Morgans was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Midas Gold Corp in April 2011 and was a key contributor to listing the Company on the TSX. Mr. Morgans has overall responsibility for the financial management of the company, including its investments in its subsidiaries that own and manage the Stibnite Gold Project, as well as being heavily involved in over US$250 million of equity, convertible notes and royalty financing transactions since June 2011.

Prior to joining Midas Gold Corp., Mr. Morgans served as Corporate Secretary and Controller of Terrane Metals, which was acquired by Thompson Creek Metals Mining Company in October 2010. Mr. Morgans joined Terrane in July 2006 and assisted in growing Terrane’s market capitalization from $140 million to $700 million on its sale. Prior to Terrane, Mr. Morgans spent three years as the Manager – Exploration Accounting at Place Dome where he was responsible for the accounting of the global exploration program until Placer Dome was acquired by Barrick Gold Corp. in 2006. Before joining Placer Dome, Mr. Morgans performed consulting services to various financial institutions in England, Scotland and Canada after spending four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brisbane, Australia.

Mr. Morgans received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

Liz Monger has over 20 years of communications and compliance experience in the junior mining space and was appointed Manager of Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary of Midas Gold on June 6, 2011. Prior to joining Midas Gold, Ms. Monger spent six years with Rainy River Resources, most recently as Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary. Before that, Ms. Monger was responsible for Corporate Communications, Compliance and Land Management over an eight-year period with Rubicon Minerals Corporation.

Ms. Monger has a Bachelor of Arts (Geography) from the University of British Columbia, has completed the Canadian Securities Course and a number of Corporate Governance courses. Ms. Monger is a member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute and the Governance Professionals of Canada. In addition to her work at Midas Gold, Ms. Monger is actively involved with and a board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC & Yukon.
